For those of you who trace your ancestry back to Johannes Weishaar via John George Whitehair (Johann Georg Weishaar), 2003 is the 250th anniversary year of JGW's emigration from Europe to America (1753).
Anyone up for a celebration?
And just as the hubbub from that event dies down (no pun intended), 2004 will be the 275th anniversary of the death of Johannes Weishaar. Perhaps this will be the year we establish where he was born!
