Ignatz Weishaar from the Chicago hts.is my great great great Grandfather. His cousin was Peter Weishaar.
I do not know his parents names but I do know Ignatz was born in Schoenenburg France Feb 16, 1831. The family set sail to America March 19, 1844, They arrived in Chicago July 4th 1844. Coming on the same ship was his wife to be and her family. Johanna Ledoux. Ignatz and Johanna were married in Chicago at St Peter's Catholic Church April 5th, 1853.
They had a total of 15 children, some born in Richton, some born after they moved to Joliet Il. in 1856.
Their daughter Francisca Weishaar born in Richton Dec. 11, 1853, is my great great Grandmother. Looking for Ignatz's parents names as well as this brothers and sisters. Also looking for information on the Ledoux family, I know Johanna's mother was a Snell, Johanna has a brother named Bernard Ledoux
