Looking for any information on Charles H. WELCH, born 1839 in Ostego, NY, the brother of my great-grandfather (William Pringle WELCH). Charles H. WELCH married Esther CRITTENDEN who was born in Boone County, May 1845. Her parents, Philander CRITTENDEN and Maria L. (Williams) CRITTENDEN were natives of Ohio who moved to Boone County. Charles H. WELCH and his parents William Valentine WELCH and Lucy (Pringle) WELCH were reported to have owned several farms in Boone County in the 1850s and 1860s. Thank you, James WELCH -- jtwelch@ispwest.com
