I can't believe I missed these posts before, but I am researching Susan Smith (b ~1800) and John Welcome/Wilcom who immigrated to Baltimore and Frederick Co, MD from Bavaria abt 1832. They had 3 sons I know of: Jerome,b 1829, d 1907 in Md; Casper, b abt 1831, buried in Md in 1898, but no other info; John, b abt 1836, no other info.
Has anyone found a passenger list or know where in Bavaria they were from? The Wilcoms still in Frederick Co have no info re immigrant John,
and presumed his wife came alone w/ the boys. They reportedly stayed with a Zeiler family in Baltimore before going to Frederick.
Any help or hint would be greatly appreciated.
