I am looking for information on Asa W. Welden (also appearing Weldon and Weldin in census materials) born about 1802 in Massachusetts. Married Eliza M. ? from New York, born about 1807 in NY. Arrived in Rockford, IL between 1830-1840. They are my ggg-grandparents. Descendents include founders of "Welden Electric", curently still operating in Rockford.

Any information on Asa's pedigree or Eliza's maiden name is appreciated.
