My Grt Grt Grand was Frederick Welker. He married Phebe TRAVIS in Marion County Ohio 26 April 1835. By 1862 they had children born in Pickaway County Ohio and were living in Auglaize/Van Wert County Ohio. I now believe he had a brother Elijah who was also married in Marion County and removed to Allen county Ohio (next to Van Wert County). I have not been able to find proof of parents of Frederick and Elijah born in 1790 and1808. I believe the TRAVIS family was also in Marion County Ohio in 1835. The children of Frederick were nine sons, only five living to maturity - Milton, Nelson, Fieldon, Elijah (E,E,?) and James. Because of information w/Milton's death I believe Frederick's father may have been from Pennsylvania. Jane
