My Samuel J Wells was born in 1801 in Md. Married an Elizabeth who was from WV in ca 1821. Her last name could have been Matheny from around Jefferson Co. they had a child Cassandra born in Va in 1822 and then 10 more children all born in Ohio and he and elizabeth are buried in Salem Cemetery, Athens Co. Ohio. I am going to Md and WV lost goose chasing. Have any ideas? Thanks Jane
