It is a fantastic site if your doing research in that area. Alice may have been a Granddaughter of Theron, or maybe a niece. The census lists several WELLES, all from CT. and I am assuming these are the brothers of Theron, whose father, Samuel Wells, came to Orwell abt. 1796, and helped settle the area.
