I am looking for information on Christine Wendland who was married to Ludwig Ploetz. They had a son August Carl Wilhelm Fredrick Ploetz who was born in Dischenhagen, Kries Camin, Pommerania July 17, 1840. He immigrated to Le Sueur, MN where he married Berthe A. E. Ulrich who also came from Dischenhagen, Pommerania. I have pictures from August Carl Wilhelm Fredrick Ploetz's home that were taken in Waltham, MN. The names on the pictures are Schmidt, Ohm, and Falk. The pictures indicate that the people are August Ploetz's cousins. They are not related through the Ploetz family from what I can ascertain. But they could be related through Christine Wendland, August's mother. Does any of this info fit any Wendland family history?
