My father's grandmother was Anna Wepner b. 1884 in Pomerania, Prussia. She immigrated in 1888 with her mother, Ida Wepner b. 1868. They settled in Ripon, WI. Ida, the mother, married Julius Stelter. His son, Rudolph, married Anna. We know NOTHING about the Wepners. We do not even know who Anna's father was, but suspect he immigrated before they did, as Ida had another child, William Wepner, in Wisconsin before she married Julius. Is there any connection?
