Looking for any and all info on the Westcott families of Bishops Lydeard. Specifically, ancestors of Joel Westcot, christened May 18, 1777 @ Bishops Lydeard, son of John and Ann. John was likely the son of Joel & Elizabeth (Joel & Elizabeth's children were John ca 1744, William ca 1750, Joel ca 1752, Mary ca 1753, James ca 1756, and George ca 1759).
Joel b. ca 1777 married an Anne (unknown surname; possibly Baker) abt 1817@ Bishops Lydeard and was the father of William Westcott, who married Mary Bishop in 1839, Wellington, Somerset.
