Marriage notice from the Western Argus newspaper of Wednesday, 2 March 1842:
In Phelps, Ontario co. on Monday, 25th ult, by Rev. Mr. L. Hubbell, Mr. DAVID F. COLE, of Lyons, to Miss JANE, daughter of Simon Westfall, Esq., of the former place.
[Note that "ult." would usually be referring to the previous month... but in this case it may be problematic because February 25 was a Friday in 1842. And, January 25 was a Tuesday. So, the 25 may be wrong, or the day of the week is.]
I'm not related, just posting in case it will help somebody with their research.
