I am doing some research for a good friend. His mother was Sylvia (WESTFALL)BLAY BOWEN. I have seen a few posts from a Sharon WESTFALL that is a cousin to my friend. But her email is not valid anymore. I would love to make contact with Sharon to share info.

1910 census Samuel Ernest and Rebecca WESTFALL (Sylvia parents) had just gotten married because it said they where married for 0 years. At this time they lived next door to Samuel’s parents in Harper, Roane Co., West Virginia.

Ernest and Rebecca WESTFALL moved with their first three children from Roane Co., WV to Wales, St Clair Co., MI sometime after 1920 but before 1923. Sylva would have been about 5 at the time. I found them in the 1930 census where Sylva was listed as 11 and living two doors away is the Sidney BOWEN family with Wilber BOWEN being 13.
