Your Robert Wetherall and his family is most likely born in Ireland. Co Armagh poss Lurgan. I am working on sorting them all out and may have more details in the next week or two.

Any information you have sounds like more then I have. My knowledge is only that I believe Lincoln to be Alanson Witherell's father, who was my g-g-g grandfather, and buried in Waites Corner Cemetary, White Creek< NY. This is located not far from Bennington, Vt. In that cemetary is him and the following two generations of Witherell's (Lafayette, and Lafayette A), and close by in Cambridge, the two generations after that (Lafayette, and Edward my father). From records on line I could never figure out where Lincoln disappeared to, until I read he was married to Tacy Kinsey. As he was in the war of 1812, in Franklin County< NY, which borders Canada. Its seems he just left?? How do you know his wife in the US was left destitute?? Do you know where he is buried?? I see from records on line, his first wife died in Vermont.

Hi it was great to see your reply to my question I asked some time ago.....Tom Wetherall who has also answered my query some time ago provided me with a detailed outline of Lincoln's life both with his first wife and his second who was my ggg (I think that's enought g's) grandmother...I will need to locate the document and would be glad to provide you with the info as I'm sure Tom wouldn't mind...but in the meantime I would also welcome any other details you may be able to share regarding Lincoln's wayward ways...I understand his first wife was left destitute; I can find little information other than dates to say when Lincoln married Tacy Kinsey etc - I believe he was a soldier but did he just desert his first wife; did he suffer some injury that may have left him with memory loss?, did he know Tacy before??? all these questions may never be answered but any help would be appreciated. In any case I will try to locate the info this weekend and get it to you

My great grand mother was born in 1901 in Armagh, Ireland she married Robert Wetherall from Ibrox Scotland. I would like to know if anyone has any information on my great grand mother and her family and marriage to Robert Wetherall of Scotland. My great grandmother died in 1982 in Belfast Ireland.

Hello Ann, I am also a NZ Wetherall although my great grandfather, Robt John came from Lurgan, Armagh, Ireland to NZ. His sister, Elizabeth Ann went to Toronto, Canada as did his mother. Robt John had two brothers, Wm James b. 1849 and Stewart b 1854 and I have no clue where they went. Bruce

Looking for details for the children born to the union of Lincoln Wetheall and Tacy Kinsey....I have some history on Lincoln and know he had another family in USA who he left when he arrived in Canada; they married 1818; Lincoln was born 1787 and Tacy in 1790. I am aware of two children - William and Mary who is my great great grandmother.

Is this the Frederick Wetherall Born 1859 In Hartley Wintney, Hampshire? Whose parents were Joseph Lancaster Wetherall and Susannah Mackenzie? If so I could tell you about how I am related to Frederick but I couldn't tell you who he married. Frederick's father Joseph Wetherald was the brother of Jane Wetherall who married Isaac Thwaite. This couple is my direct line.

PETER WETHERALL, a saloonist, has a pretty King Charles Spaniel named Frank.

Today he was out on the pavement in front of the Herald office, barking when there was nothing to bark about.

Mr. Wetherall was asked what was the matter with his dog, he said he had been drinking, and as in the case of a man, it had made him noisy.

Frank has cultivated a taste for beer. He will loaf around the trough where the beer is on the drought, and drink the drippings till he can't walk, if he doesn't get enough to make him sleepy drunk, he gets noisy.
