Seeking information on the ancestors of Bernhard (Bernhart) Wetter born 2 October 1826 in Niederkalbach, Hesse, Germany. His father was Nicholas Wetter. Mother unknown. Bernhard was orphaned at the age of 14 and was taken in by the Hildebrand family. He emigrated to the United States about 1849 and married Elizabeth Loos 2 July 1853.
