John Wetter
John P. Wetter, 86, of Stockton and formerly of Lodi, died Apr 3, 2005, in Stockton. He was born Aug. 11, 1918, in Iowa.
Mr. Wetter lived in Lodi for 1953 to 1994, when he moved to Stockton. He worked as a sales person selling bar supplies for 45 years.
He is survived by his son, Terry D. Wetter, of Lodi; daughter, Rhonda A. Magness, of Stockton; brothers, Marion Wetter, of Oceanside and Cleo Wetter, of Stockton; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church, 3535 N. El Dorado St., Stockton. Internment will be private at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204-1953; to the National Federation of the Blind, 5982 S. Land Park Drive, Sacramento, CA 95822; or to the First Baptist Church, 3535 N. El Dorado St., Stockton, CA 95204.
