Laurie DeArmitt and David Wetzel announce they are getting married after 20 years. They met in high school when they were 18 in 1988.

Laurie is the daughter of Charles W. DeArmitt Jr. of Pleasant Gap and the late Janet DeArmitt. She is a 1988 graduate of Bellefonte High School. She is a CNA and medical assistant.

David is the son of the late Louis Wetzel Sr. and Connie Wetzel. He was a logger for about 25 years. He is employed at Ciesco Inc. in State College.

They both like to go mudding, farming and camping, and they both enjoy the mountain life. They are planning an outdoor wedding on May 2, 2009 at 2 p.m.
