I am looking for information on Fredrick John Whale or John Fredrick Whale (not sure way he recorded it). The 1881 England census lists him as John F. Whale but he was known to family members as Uncle Fred.

He was born in the Chadwell St Mary district of Essex, England in 1876 or 1877 and emmigrated to Ontario Canada prior to 1908 when other family members arrived. He settled in the Alliston, Ontario area and as far as we know, stayed there all his life.
