I'm looking for info on a Thomas Whealey. It's rumored he was part Irish. He would have been born in the 1800's. He spent sometime around the area of Renville Minnesota. He married a Antonette Ehlert, who was born in Norway sometime in the 1800's and would have died in the 1900's. They had 8 children and had a farm somewhere around Renville Minnesota. I do know that he took off shortly after the last birth and was never heard from again. One of their children was a May Whealey Stuk who was born 7/10/1891 in Renville Minnesota and died 10/19/1991in Lewiston Idaho. My Great-grandmother also had a twin sister named Maude Whealey, I know she died a couple years before great-grandma I think and I do not think she married. I think May, my great-grandmother was one of the younger children because she did not have memories of her father. Her mother had once told her that we father was part Irish and that was about as much as she was willing to say about him. I hear she was a bit bitter on that topic... Maude's last name is spelled "Whealey" in a new paper article from 1981 but my Great-grand mothers death cert spells it "Whealy". If anyone happens to have any other info I would appreciate it.
