Wheatland's from Hove, Sussex- Wheatland Shoe Store

Surnames: Wheatland French
Does anyone have any connections with a William Wheatland (B: 1856) married Annie Humphrey French (B: Mar 1859) and ran a shoe store at 198-200 Church Rd in Hove until the 1940's. I know Sussex is "overrun" with Wheatland's but the "shoe store" connection should be distinct. Let me know if you have any knowledge, it would be much appreciated.
