I am looking for information concerning an Earnest Whitaker all I know is that he may be my husband's great great great great grandfather

Also in the line is an Oliver Barr Whitaker who was in the Missouri house of representatives around the time of Truman. He ran against Harry Truman for U.S. Senator

Oliver Barr Whitaker had at least two children: Uncas Whitaker and Portia Whiaker Burnell.

Portia is my husband's grandmother and passed away in the state of Ohio

It is also known that at one time the Whitakers lived in Dodge City, Mo.

Anyone having any information for these people would be very much appreciated.
