Looking for information on Cody Earl Whiteley who lived in Indiana. Born approx. 1887 and died around Frankfort Indiana 1950. May have lived with McClaine family. Counties known to have lived in include Clinton, Boone, Montgomery. Lived near town of Advance Indiana, worked as a carpenter. Believe his fathers name was Francis. He lived with a lady for awhile named Hettie McClaine. She lived to age 98. Cody Earl is the lost link. I've heard he had the nickname "brows" due to his heavy eyebrows. Cody Earl was married to Mayme Sheets in Frankfort Indiana and was latter divorced. They had a single child name Lester Earl Whiteley in 1914. Lester was one of the first Indiana State Police Officers and retired about 1957. Any information regarding Cody Earl Whiteley or Mayme Sheets is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Steve.
