I am trying to locate a family bible last belonging to Essie Proffit in Omro Wi. She passed in 1988. This bible contains the birth records of the Samuel Whitmarsh family of Otsego, NY. Ruth Whitmarsh married a Jacob Morenus. The bible ended up in the hands of Essie whom I believe was a Whitemarsh in WI. Please, Please let me know if ANYONE knows the whereabouts of this bible. I am researching the NY Whitmarsh's for numerous lines (including my own. I am willing to share information.
