Searching for info on Whitmarsh/Whitemarsh from Ontario and NY state. Thomas b. ca 1772 NY, went to Ontario, said to be a UE Loyalist. Possible brother John Whitmarsh b. ca 1786 NY, also in Ontario before 1792. Third brother or son of Thomas?, David Whitemarsh/Whitmarsh b. 1792 Ontario, traveled between Canada and St. Lawrence Co., NY all his life. Died after 1875 in Ontario. Other male names used frequently; Frederick, Eleazar/Eliazer/Elias, Alonzo/Elonzo, and William. Lots of info and still lots of confusion about these Whitmarshes/Whitmarshes....... please help!......... Lisa
