I am currently looking for information on a Wilson R. White who married a first cousin (2x removed) named Ann Murray Long.

I am unable to locate any information on their children at all, and the relatives who had contact with them had not seen them in over thirty years. There is nothing that I can locate on the web, and I would appreciate any info you have on them.

Hi Donald, Am looking for the first Nathan WhitES in our family who was obviously a loner. He first shows up in KY married to a "Mary" later i.d.'d as Mary Ann Perry. The birth dates I have for him are probably not correct, about 1824. Family myth claims we are from Ohio. However, I find no Ohio records. I am picking up a couple of books at the library tomorrow from NGS researched by a family of WhitIS out of PA. The one claims three brothers who went west from PA, had a falling out and one, Nathan, went south. Does this sound familiar? Thanks Jean B. pjbrock@brinet.com.

Laura White Married William B. Sheckels on September 25, 1898 at Union County, Tennessee. Laura's parents were Mary Catherine Lamb & James White.

Also in Bell County, Tennessee I need info on my Great Aunt Matilda J. Burke born 1898 & married a Mr. Earnest White.

our family history relates. our john white was married to malvina (berrie belle briggs), and approx. date of birth was around 1812-1815. john and malvina had the following children, charles, william, edward,mattie,matilda,howell,terrell,jasper. then charles married sarah elizabeth fortune.. charles wesley was born in 1845 and they had elizabeth,william leander,john,mary,rebecaa,james, emma. john white also had 2 other brothers, howell and cowell, which we think they came from england

Actually there is evidence that Thomas Joshua Whitehurst/Whitis was the father of the children mentioned as also being the children of Elizabeth Whites/Whitis/Whiteass.....their son John Whitis is my gggg grandfather....In the will of Batson Whitehurst/Whites/Whitis dated 26 March 1823, (North Carolina) among those names in his will were four grandchildren: (Patsy) Martha, Batson, John, and Thomas (Jefferson) Whitehurst.

Charles Wesley and Angeline were born afterwards....

Looking for names and locations of parents and siblings of Menly White, born Jun 1841 in Michigan. Parents are said to have been from New York. Menly married Dianna Hard of Ohio, in approx 1868. Their children Burton, Ray, Clarence and Claude were also born in Michigan. Burton was born Jul 1873. Burton married Flora York in Dec 1898. 1900 Michigan census places Menly, Dianna and sons Ray and Clarence as living in Charlotte, Eaton Co., Michigan. 1900 NY census places Burton, Flora, one of their sons Burr, and another son of Menly and Dianna's, Clarence, in Whitestown Township, Oneida Co, NY. just saw your message re: edwin earl white. my grandfather was alfred andrew and had 3 brothers - each had the double vowel names (aa, ee, ii, and oo) they also had a sister who died at the age of 18 and her name was susanne. their mother's name was pauline chastain. if this is a possible relation please contact me. will share and would love and info on the brothers and the father, frank lee white. I do know that each brother went to a different part of the US to settle. my grandfather went to Calif. one went to Kansas, one to the Virginia, N. Carolina area and one to the great lakes.

My great-grandfather was Clyde Vernon Whites b. Feb. 27,1887in Louisville Ms who lived in the Betheden Community. He married Hattie Lee Kinard and their daughter Ethel Beatrice Whites (One of the children) was my grandmother she married Freeman Odie Livingston of Winston Co. They are all buried in Louisville, MS. My grandmother is buried at Antioch and if I'm not mistaken Clyde and Hattie are buried at the Betheden Cemetary.

Bob, I am researching my sons ancestors in the White family. I have a John "Jonnie" White born 1855 in TN. He married Mary "Bell?" in 1883 also in TN. Their son was George W. White (b. abt 1877)m. Martha Esterlee Russell abt 1896. They had four children: Nora b.abt 1897 Alice b. abt 1902 and Samuel White b. abt 1904 and James "Jim" Alonso b. February 16, 1898 in TN d. 1986 TN.
