Looking for any information pertaining to the following:
Augusta Whiteside b. abt 1871 in South Carolina m. Ellis G. Spears of South Carolina and move to Rhode Island before 1895. This information is derived from the 1920 East Providence, Providence, Rhode Island Federal Census. Augusta died in Rhode Island aft. 1960. The 1920 census indicates that the family was black. I have looked for both of these people in the 1870 African American Federal Census but could find nothing. Any help would be most appreciated, will share any information I have.
