I'm looking for information regarding Sarah Ann Whitmore. She was born March 04, 1824, birthplace unknown. Possibly Pennsylvania or Kentucky area. Died August 24, 1899 in Pike County, Illinois, buried in Morrellville Cemetery. To my knowledge she gave birth to one son, Orville Eldred Whitmore Sept 10, 1855 in Pike County, Illinois. He died January 25, 1922.
I am looking for Sarah's parents and/or siblings that she may have had.
I am not positive, but I strongly suspect Whitmore was her maiden name, she never married the man who fathered her child. Yet I do not know if she was married prior to this relationship.
