Hi.

I have for years been looking for my wifes
ggrandmother, Mary Glidden.

She was reportedly b in Mar of 1854 in Maine.

Mary first married WILLIS WHITNEY and they lived
in Nebraska for awhile.
Their children were:

George, b abt 1878..and
John, b 1879 or 1880.
and probably,
Minnie
Jessie

She secondly married DARIUS WHITNEY who might have
been a cousin of WILLIS. They lived in Nebraska,
Kaansas, and were buried next to each other in the
EVERGREEN CEMETERY in Co Springs, El Paso, Colorado.

Darius' 1st wife was named Catherine.

Their children were:

Mae Ella Whitney, my wifes grandmother, b
23 Feb, 1890, in Sharon Springs, Ks.
