Your posting was about 2 years ago, but I have just gotten into geneology the last year or so and I also have relatives that came from Pennsylvania. My great great grandfather was John H. Whittaker, born 8-16-1823 in Huntington County Pennsylvania. He married Mary Jane McCrum born, 5-1-1826, we assume in Pennsylvania too. I don't have any knowledge of any siblings or parents. My great great grandparents moved to Doniphan County in Kansas in 1854 and both died here. I don't know if we are related to the same Whittakers or not. This is as far back as I have any sure knowledge of my ancestors. I think they orginally came from England
