Does anyone have any Indian connections to the Whittington name. I have many stories and theory's but nothing ever pans out. Evidantly the Whittington side is supposed to have Cherokee Indian in it. I come from the Fenneman side from Harry Fenneman who married Elsie Whittington from Putnum/Kanawha County. Elsie is supposed to be either 1/2 or 3/4 Indian. Please reply with any information that you may have.
