Isaac Whittington, born 1873 in Putnam County, was my great-grand uncle. He married into my family with his first marriage to Martha S. Ruley. She was the daughter of Fealdon/Feldon Ruley and Martha Esther Hamilton. Martha S. was born 19 Oct 1872 in Putnam County and died 15 Aug 1896 (probably in Ohio). The marriage produced two sons. Frank T. Whittington was born 27 Apr 1892 and died 05 Oct 1970 in Franklin County, Ohio. He married Nellie Hill and had two children, Harold and Margaret. Virgil Whittington was born in 1895. He married Rose and had two children, Roberta and Lawrence.

Isaac's second marriage was to Luvernia Amatis Higginbotham.
