I am searching for the Wholey family, specifically a James Wholey b. in Ireland and immigrated to Portsmouth NH d. 1888, m. Bridget Roach. Parents are John Wholey and Catherine Caughlin of Ireland. Children of James and Bridget: Blanche Marie, Dennis, John, Mary b. Oct 24 1873, Joanna and Margaret b. Aug 23, 1876, Catherine b. Dec 16 1898. I am stuck at John and Catherine and can't seem to go back any further. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
