Hi, I am still searching for Wholey's from Southern Ireland. My Wholey branch only emigrated as far as the United Kingdom. I do believe there was quite a few of them, possible even two different families as I have come across two Michaels, one is from my branch but the other one isn't. I am not sure how many brothers or sisters my Great grandad had or how old he was when he came to UK. His name was Michael and his fathers name(taken from his marraige certificate ) was Daniel, but there is no record on the certificate of his mothers name. So this is the part I am researching now. Michael was married in UK and died in UK. he was born apprx 1871 somewhere in Southern Ireland but he was married in UK on the 15th October 1892 to Catherine Cairns and he was Roman Catholic. Does anyone out there recognise any of this or can anyone point me in the right direction Thanks Maureen
