Please let me know if anyone can trace their Whye ancestors back to Southern England. There is a definite pockets of WYEs in the Surrey area. The spelling changes to WHY as you get closer to London. But I have come across all the following versions:

WYE
WHY
WHYE
WIE
WHEY
WEAY

and I'm sure there are some others. It's always nice to make connections so please let me know if you can trace back to this area or even if you have "lost" an ancestors roots and you would like me to check my database!
