English Wiberts, 18th Century

Hello Wiberts. This is a genealogical stab in the dark but . . . My ancestor was John Wybert Denty from England (probably London) to VA between 1720 and 1746. In his early years in Fairfax Co, the records refer only to John Wyberd/Wybert/Wiburt. Does anyone have info on early Wiberts in England or possible Denty connections?

but no phebe that i can find but the name does ring a bell

that may be so isaac married a betsy burtis
John Elizabeth had benjamin, john, isaac,
joseph ,james, ester and mary and it was at this point
that this john begin using wybert. so we have john
wibert and then his son john wybert. life is

I have been looking for a Sarah Cordelia Wibert b. in OH but married in Mecosta MI to Cyrus Albert (Bert) Fewla(e)ss. I found her listed as C._S. Wibert in the marriage records so am wondering if I have had her name switched around. Cyrus was in the lumbering in MI and I have been told that Cordelia or Sarah was a cook in a lumber camp. They later lived in Big Rapids MI. Would love to connect with someone.

Esther was the (adopted) daughter of Turhan Mary Culver of northeastern Ohio. She married a Sidney WIBERT. They had 3 children....Elizabeth, twins boys, Phillip Blane. Esther died in a car-train collision along with her little dog. Esther's adopted mother's name was either MARY DIAL PATTERSON CULVER or MARY PATTERSON DIAL CULVER. I am looking for Esther's children or grandchildren. Can anyone help?

I am a Wibert! My great grandmother was
Phoebe Wibert whose parents are Isaac
Betsy (Burtis) Wibert! I believe the
W Donald Wybert is related to me his great
great grandfather was John the brother of Isaac. I understand you have a family bible!
We have some old letters from the Wibert who
were from Dutchess County New York from
Leesburg VA.

Which John Drish are you looking for?
My Great Grandfather was John H Drish who married Phoebe Wibert. Then his Grandfather
married Eleanor (?). To see John Drish name
is exciting!!! My cousin I have been
working on the Drish side of the family
for almost 2 yrs. My Grandfather was
Charles Edwin Drish. He had a brother
William that we have lost!

so are related?? This is the first time that
Wybert has been brought up! We have some old
letters from Phoebe her family, the Drish
side of the family from 1846 to 1915, they
spelled the name Wibirt! Very interesting!

Our John Elizabeth is Elizabeth Swartwout.
Some of the names you said didn't ring a bell. We believe Phoebe was a daughter of
Isaac Betsy Wibert (not confirmed)!
