Margareth Wick, born Oppermann [Mrs. Christian Wick] -- Friends and neighbors the sad news that the much beloved Mutter, mother-in-law, grandmother, and sister, Margaretha Wick, born Oppermann on Wednesday the 29 December, at 1:00 after midday, age 78 years, after a long illness was provided with the holy last sacrament, is resting in peace. The funeral will be Monday, 3 of January, at 9:30 in the morning, from the house of son John Wm. Wick, 1667 Bartlett Ave, Shorewood, then to St. Elizabeth Church, and from there to Calvary Cemetery. Private condolences please, to the mourning and grieving left behind: Mrs. Chas. B. Friedrich, John Wm. Wick, children; Mrs. George Hauf, Mrs. John Hauf, Miss Anna Oppermann, sisters, Mrs. Catherine Wick, daughter-in-law; together with 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Third Order and the Christian Mother’s Society of St. Elizabeth Church.
