I am looking for information on my husband's great grandmother Tina Catherine Widener(Widner). Tina (pronounced Tie-na) was born in July of 1866 in VA (mostly likely Grayson County.) She died on July 27 1938. She married my husband's grandfather Wilson L. Roark and they lived in the Wilson District of Johnson Coo TN. My in-laws had great information on Wilson, but not as much on Tina. The only candidate for her mother is Sarah M Widener (Widner), born in 1845 in VA because she is listed as living in TN with Wilson and Tina as mother-in-law in every census between 1900 and 1920. However, I cannot find a household in either a VA or TN census with Sarah Widener, spouse, and daughter. I am almost ready to conclude that Sarah never married since she lived with her daughter and son-in-law their entire marriage. Also, the 1880 Wilson District, Johnson Co. TN census lists a Sarah and Tina Widener living with W R and Mary Sexton both as nieces. And by the next census, Sarah is living with Wilson and Tina.
