He was born in Vienna, Austria in 1897. He came to the U.S. when he was 9 years old. His mother married a man with the last name of Wiesinger. He had a brother John and a sister Marie. His mothers' sisters name was Louise. I think the last name was Watke, or something that sounded like that. He married Bertha Hauri in 1927 and had 3 daughters, Joan, Gail and Lynn.
