WILLBANKS - Patsy, local resident of Owasso, OK, died Sunday, March 29, 2009, in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 76 years. She was born July 13, 1932, at Flippin, AR, to Cecil and Icie Lonon Nelson. She grew up in Flippin and graduated with the Flippin High School Class of 1950. She was married February 18, 1951, in Texarkana, AR, to Eldon Willbanks. They had made their home in Owasso since 1979. She spent much of her working life as a manager with Agrico, a subsidiary of Williams Companies in Tulsa, OK.

Patsy was a deeply genuine Lady whose beauty and grace surpassed all possible comprehension. She enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb. She also enjoyed cooking and was superb at it. She had a flair for creativity, a magic touch, and a real love for everyone. In addition to being a devoted and faithful wife, she was also a miracle mom, a loving sister, a proud grandmother, and a best friend. She was a Sunday School teacher and very active in church throughout the duration of her life. Her faith and relationship with Christ were strong and steadfast. If ever there was an angel on earth, it was Patsy. Her soul will continue to shine brilliantly forever in the hearts of all those fortunate enough to know her. She is at peace now, shining, sparkly, and beautiful. Loving family members include: her loving husband of over 58 years, Eldon, of the home; daughter, Tracy Willbanks, of Pensacola, FL; sister, Sharon Rumley, of Tulsa; daughter-in-law, Susan Willbanks, of Navarre, FL; 2 granddaughters, Morgan and Taylor Willbanks. She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Brian Willbanks; brother, Robert Nelson; and a sister, Emma Katherine Nelson.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Owasso with Pastor Roger Ferguson officiating. Committal services and interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 13307 East 96th Street North, Owasso, OK, 74055, or Clarehouse, 7324 East 49th Place #3, Tulsa, OK 74145.
