"Funeral services for Fred Wilhelmi of Pilot Point were conducted Saturday in the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ with Dean Kilmer and Randy Johns officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Wilhelmi died Tuesday in an automobile accident in Sherman.'

Mr. Wilhelmi was born 3 May 1962, in El Paso, a son of Fred Wilhelmi Sr. and Martha Delgado Wilhelmi. He was a machinist at Fisher Controls in Sherman. He was a 1981 graduate of Paris High School, where he was named to the Society of Distinguished High School Students and was a member of the track team. He attended Grayson County College majoring in electrical engineering. Surviving are his wife, the former Leslie Miears; a son; one daughter; his mother, Martha Bostwick; his stepfather, Ron Bostwick of Denison; his father, Fred Wilhelmi Sr. of Odessa; two sisters; one brother; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Delgado of El Paso, Mrs. Earl Bostwick of Sherman and Mrs. Judy Lewis of Odessa."
