Melvin Wilkins California family origin questions by his son Timothy
My Father was Melvin Wilkins of El Cajon, CA., who died approx. May 1984, born probably Jan 18, 1927. His father was Rodney Wilkins married to a Gloria I believe. He had 1/4 or 1/2 quantum Indian blood, Cherokee. I am trying to establish my Indian heritage but have had no luck in finding information on his parentage. My siblings are Tom, LeeAnn, Debbie, Valerie. If anyone can give me further parentage info, I would certainly appreciate it, or how to find. Thank you. Tim Wilkins, now in Nebraska
