There is a remote possibility my line of Willeys is connected to yours. I descend from a George Washington Willey born 16 Jul 1794 (in the NE, Maine?), died 6 Jan 1844 in Potomac, Vermillion County, Illinois. Married Mary Jane Willey(maiden name unknown) about 1811, and had 6 childred. Abigail - 1812, Huldah 1815, Docia -1817, George Jr. - 1821, Martha Ann - 1823, and Sally or Sarah - 1826. His wife died giving birth to Sally. George Jr. may be the connection.

George (Senior) remarried 24 Jun 1827 ( Minerva Jane Tilson or Tillison) and went on to have 11 more children before his death in 1844. I descend from this marriage, son Joseph Andrew Willey 1833, the fourth child of the marriage. George died in Illinois, and his second wife went on to marry again, but had no more children.

If you feel my line is a possible connection, I will be happy to share what I have with you. I do not know much about the first marriage other than the children. I have found nothing to determine the outcome of the children from the first marriage when the second marriage took place. There is a gap in this part of the information.
