There was a family of Willifords in Pike Co., AL, on the 1860 census. Two brothers of this family married Snider (Snyder?) girls: George Alexander Williford m. Malissa Snider Feb. 3, 1870 in Pike Co. and Henry W. Williford m. Catherine Snider Sep. 15, 1869, also Pike Co. There was a brother, name unknown, between George and Henry. I do not find the name Isaac in the known names. Many members of this Alabama family ended up in Texas (I believe it may have been Hardin Co). I do not have the name of these Williford children's parents but I believe they were probably children of a son of Benjamin C. Williford (b. NC/d. Monroe Co., GA) and Charity Cobb Williford (b. NC/d. Crawford Co., GA).
