William Willingham

I'm trying to find out about the parents of William Willingham born in Horringer in 1841, he went on to marry a Jane Hunt.

I cannot seem to find any record of a William Willingham born around this time, except a William Henry Willingham who only parent stated is his mother - Mary Anne Willingham, who I think then married a Mr Last. Therefore the son William Willingham changed his name to Last.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Sherry,
IN reference to John Willingham's having ridden with the James gang. The James, Younger, and Dalton brothers were actually all realted - the Daltons to the James, and the Youngers to the James.
There is a web site managed by "Friends of the Youngers" that has decent information on the members of the gangs, especially the James and Younger gangs.

After reaching the home page, click on The Desperadoes. This gives you a run down on the main characaters, then there is a link to "other members" I did not see the name of a Willingham there.

http://www.islandnet.com/~the-gang/index.html
Pa and 1850 they are in Schuylkill Co. Pa. their daughter Elizabeth Jane was born 1830 Yorkshire, England and married John Ferry in Schuylkill Co. Pa. around 1846.
Haughton W. is my 2nd ggandfather. My mother was a Willingham. Cannot find more info on Haughton but another Willingham (Russell) said that he was taking a herd of mules to New Orleans for sale and was robbed and killed after his departure and nothing was heard from him since. I do have quite a bit on the Willinghams that grew up in IL and MO and would share what I have.
