Would appreciate any information about FATHER of my GGGrandmother, Emma Wilson (child) or Emma Griggs (when married). She was b. 30 Jun 1835 in Monroetown, PA, died Grundy Center, Iowa 26 Apr 1877. She might have had the middle name of Elizabeth, so would have been known as Emma Elizabeth Wilson as a girl, Emma Elizabeth Griggs when married. He husband was Eli Griggs.

I am looking for the name & info about her father, who may have been Thomas Metcalf Wilson, possibly married to Abigail Cole of Monroe, PA, but I'm not sure.

Emma Grigg's daughter, Mary I. Griggs, who was born 23 Dec 1853, Monroe, Bradford County, Penn., is my great-grandmother. She is buried in Pacific Grove, California at the El Carmelo Cemetery. Mary, who died 6 Dec 1931, was married to Joseph Trotter Elliott, thus known in her married life as Mary Elliott.
