Marriage of Hayes Wimberly to Miss Della Payne

The residence of Dr. J. H. Payne was the scene of a quiet, unostentatious wedding ceremonial last Tuesday evening, the contracting parties being Mr. Hayes Wimberly, son of W. R. Wimberly, one of Kaufman County's best and most influential farmers, and Miss Della Payne, the winsome daughter of Dr. J. H. Payne, a well known and highly esteemed citizen of this place. The marriage ceremony occurred at 5 o'clock, Rev. J. A. Hornbeak of the Presbyterian Church, officiating. Present at the marriage were the immediate relatives of the contracting parties and a few special friends from this city.
After the ceremony the benedictions of kind and loving parents and the congratulations of friends were showered upon the happy couple and all repaired tot he dining room, where the marriage feast was partaken of. Mr. and Mrs. Wimberly will reside near Terrell.
