I have only just seen your message of eight years ago and write to thank you for the interesting information. Arthur Windsor was an elder brother of my grandfather, John Windsor. I did not know that any of the family had lived in India.

I do not know that I am. I am related to Windzers/Windsors who settled in SC om abt. 1750. His name was Austin Winzer,His son Anderson Winzer an his son John Winzer who went to GA and his son Elijah Winzer and his son William Pickens Winzer who went to Texas after the Civil War and was my grandfather.WPW that is.
Just looking around for any connections. Do you know of any to these Windzers/Winsors/Windsors, Winzers???

Patricia A. Wisinski Windsor, 72, of Edinboro went into Jesus' arms on the wings of an angel Saturday, March 7, 2009 She was born in Erie on February 15, 1937,
daughter of the late Joseph & Genevieve Wisinski.
Pat was the matriarch of the family. She was a member of the 1954 graduating class of St. Benedict Academy. She married Frank Windsor June 9, 1956. She loved visiting with senior citizens, going to church, taking trips and spending time with her beloved family and friends. Pat is preceded in death by her husband Frank who passed away May 30, 2000. Survivors include her five children, Julia Durfee and her husband Jeff of Waterford; son Charles Windsor and his wife Eileen of Pittsburgh; Kenneth Windsor and his wife Melanie of Waterford; Timothy Windsor and his wife Cheryl of Edinboro; and Thomas Windsor of Edinboro; her sister Nancy Quinn, brother Richard Wisinski and his wife Sue; sister Jean Myers and her husband Frank; and Marilyn Eickley; fifteen grandchildren, two great grandsons and and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Tuesday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Lake Church at 11:00 a.m., with Father John B. I think it is highly likely this Mary Walker was the daughter of Adam Walker and Esther Chance. Adam and Esther had 6 boys and three girls before he died in 1813 in PA. Esther and kids moved to Jefferson Co., OH in 1814 and went to Athens Co., OH sometime around 1821. Esther d. in Athens Co., in 1839 (Orange Cemetery). Confirmed sons are: Samuel, b. 1805, m. Sarah Sloan, then went to Monroe Co., WI; John Walker, b. 1897, m. Rhoda Colmer, d. 1879 in Athens Co., OH; Robert Walker, b. 1809, m. Lucy Caldwell, d. in Athens Co., OH 1842. This Mary Walker claims in the 1880 census that she was b. in PA and her father born in IRE. This is true Adam was b. in IRE and given that Mary was living very close to brother Samuel Walker for most of life, I think it is a good bet that Mary Walker Windsor is from this Walker family. There are still more daughters and sons I have not found yet, but I think Mary is a reasonable addition.

Neva is my Great Aunt. I found her as Neva Tolin on the 1900 U.S. Census in East St. Louis, St. Clair County Illinois. She is shown as married and living with daughter Pearl who is 15. Neva was the mother of 3 with only Pearl as the surviving child.Isaac Solomon Tolin is living in New Design Precinct, Monroe County ,Illinois in 1900 and shown as single
In 1910 Neva is living near Boyceville, WI She is living with her second husband Alva J. Duncan in Stanton Township, Dunn County, WI She was married circa 1905 and had another child that didn't survive.
In 1920 and 1930 Neva and Alva are living in Dolph, Arkansas. They are listed in Bryon Township, Izard County, Arkansas.
