A Joseph O. Mion states he was born April 1855 in Louisiana - He is married about 1881 - to a May (or Mary). They have 4 children: Oscar Joseph, b. 1882, St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri - Emma, Elizabeth and Arthur were born in Colorado - -
Joseph O. Mion appears on the 1885 Colorado State Census and on the 1900 Colorado census. He and May/Mary divorce - and by 1910 there is a Joseph Mion who appears on the 1910 census at Baratlesville, Washington County, Oklahoma - probably him??
I cannot locate him on the 1860, 1870 or 1880 census - no one avoids all three census' - - name must be misspelled?? have tried a zillion ways to spell Mion.
Who were his parents - he states his father is from France and mother from Canada?? Did he have siblings???
May/Mary ?? married twice after the divorce from Mion - 1st to a John South and last to a Mr. Kane - she dies and is buried in Colorado - -
Joseph Mion is a mystery man - anyone with any bright ideas - I could use your help.
