I am looking for any information on the Winkle/Winkel line on my late grandmother's side. The information she left me was incomplete, and she may have had her spelling/dates wrong:

Wilhelmina Winkle, b. abt 1845/1857 in Strelitz or Mecklenburg, Germany (the family supposedly emigrated in 1864). She married Henry Frederick Frerking b. abt 1840/1855 of Hamburg, Germany. They probably married somewhere in Illinois. One child was Herman Willilam Frerking b. 12 Mar 1875 in Hinsdale, Du Page, IL.
