Adam was my husband's (Paul) grt, grt, grt, grandfather.

"I have Alfred & Jennie Winnigham's family bible" they were married on 13 Mar 1870.

The family bible reads:

James Winningham (b.29 Feb 1756) & his wife Sarah (Nichols) (b.18 Oct. 1769) had a son named Gaines (b.11 Feb 1794).
Gaines & Nancy's (Moffitt) son was Adam (b.6 Jan 1817).
Adam & Dorinda's (Brower) son was Alfred G. (b.3 Jun 1844).
Alfred & Jennie's (Sale) son was William A. (b. 24 Sep 1884).
William & Retta's (Pierce) son was Pierce S. (b. 27 Sep 1910).
Pierce & Dorothy's (Ridge) son is Donald (alive).
Donald & Redah's (Cox) son is Paul (alive).
Paul & Stevanna's (Wood) son is Joseph (alive).

I also have other siblings & childrens names, marriages, divorces, military records, pictures, deaths & birth dates, newpaper articles & photo's of cemetery head stones. I have not opened my tree to anyone yet, but I do intend to sometime in the near future. I want to make sure I have all the data entered before I do. I also plan to use pictures & I will try to scan as many of the documents as I can for others to see. The bible is in a "very delicate condition" but extremely legible.

I am doing this with and for our daughter. It has been alot of fun so far and we are certainly on an adventure.
